Pilsner Urquell, first brewed in 1842, is the world’s first golden beer, or “pilsner”, brewed in Plzen, Czech Republic.

Drunk by the European aristocracy down the generations, we have remained faithful to our original brewing recipe using only the finest local ingredients from Plzen and our unique triple decoction brewing method.

Pilsner Urquell has a rich, full taste consisting of 21 different taste notes, much more than other premium beers, enabled only through the unique triple decoction brewing process using direct flame and the finest ingredients local to Plzen. It is packaged in a unique green bottle with champagne gold neck foil and a distinctive red seal on the label.
