This National Heritage Month we’re going to be celebrating all the things that make us who we are in the #MySAHeritage competition!
South Africa is a vast country rich in diversity: from the many different cultures that make up our rainbow nation to the unique natural and manmade environments which form the backdrop to our lives. And then what about the stories we tell, the songs we sing and the shared customs, traditions and memories passed on from generation to generation?
From mountains to cities, braais to bobotie, coffee culture to coastal cocktails; celebratory songs to occasional dress: we’ve got loads to celebrate!
So what are those things give us our South African flavour? What is it that YOU see as typically South African?
Answer this question in a picture and you could win a fantastic SAB Heritage Hamper to add some nca to your Heritage Day celebrations.
The prize to make your Heritage Day one to remember:
- A South African Braai Survival Kit which includes Castle braai tongs, 3 Castle marinades, a selection of biltong and snacks and an apron for bringing it all together;
- A braai-side Flying Fish umbrella to keep you cool and refreshed;
- A large size Castle cooler box;
- And of course some beers for you to enjoy on Heritage Day!
How to enter:
Simply share photos of your favourite typically South African things, post them to our Facebook wall or Twitter and tag them with #MySAHeritage. The best picture will take home the SAB Heritage Hamper!
