Paying tribute to Graham Mackay

Thursday, December 19th, 2013

Following yesterday’s sad news, we have received hundreds of messages of support. A special tribute site to Graham Mackay has been made available on the SABMiller website.

The site includes an online book of celebration that gives you– and people who may have had a link with Graham such as our customers, suppliers and business partners – the opportunity to pay tribute to him, both in words and pictures.

You will also find a special tribute film to Graham, which features the memories and thoughts of just a few of the many people who worked closely with him during his remarkable career with SABMiller.

In the longer term, these memories and photos will be turned into a book of celebration of Graham’s working life and will be given to his family.

As soon as we can, we will share details about the funeral arrangements, our plans to pay tribute to Graham in South Africa and any family requests regarding flowers or donations.

During the last 24 hours many newspapers, television channels and radio stations in South African have paid tribute to Graham – a selection of these stories are included below.
