The number of journalists entering The South African Breweries (SAB) Sports Media Awards increased by more than 30% this year, making it one of their most successful competitions to-date.

“The response this year has been overwhelming, ” says Robyn Chalmers, Head of Corporate Communications at SAB. “We’re thrilled that all the hard work and effort is paying off with not only the highest number of entries being recorded, but also entrants coming from a diverse range of media houses and institutions.”

“We encourage all first time entrants to continue working to hone their craft and in time they too, will walk away with one of these prestigious Awards, ” she says.
