SAB unites against Xenophobia

To support the victims of the recent xenophobic attacks, SAB has pledged R250 000 in humanitarian support through the Gift of the Givers Foundation.

The Foundation is one of the largest disaster response NGOs on the African continent and has set up camps in Johannesburg’s Mayfair and Durban’s Isipingo areas. The camps provide places of safety for those who have been displaced by the attacks.

Furthermore the SAB East Coast Regional office have been working closely with Toti Child Welfare, a non-profit organisation which is currently housing victims at their Isipingo offices. SAB will be contributing a further R40 000 to ensure that the victims are able to keep warm and have the blankets and supplies they need.

SAB, as a proudly South African originated company that has extended its operations across the globe, realises the importance of upholding the freedom, dignity and human rights of all.
